Web Design
Using best practices for web design, UX, SEO, and accessibility, I’ll work with you to create a website that will help you attain your business goals. Whether it’s a portfolio, a business site, e-commerce, or a blog, I’ll work with you to get you set up! I specialize in Squarespace and Shopify web design and have also worked with other content management systems including WordPress, Wix, and WebsiteBuilder. If you have a particular CMS you like working with, just ask!
The Process:
Kickoff Meeting
We discuss the details of your website and the pages that you’d like to include in the build.
Sitemap
I’ll create a sitemap that shows the website’s page structure and hierarchy.
Template Selection
Once the sitemap is approved, then I will select three possible template options for your website based on the sitemap and the info gathered from our kickoff meeting. You’ll have the opportunity to select which template you like the most before we move into production.
Asset Delivery
I will create a shared file in Google Drive where you’ll add the copy and assets for each page on your website.
Website Build
Once I receive your file assets, then the process of building the website commences. I will design and develop the web pages based on the sitemap and selected template.
Edits
Once I finish designing, formatting, and adding in all the copy and assets, I’ll send over a preview link for you to review and make a list of edits for each page. There is one round of edits allowed for each page.
Website Launch
Once all the edits are approved and you’re ready to launch the site, I’ll work with you to connect the site’s domain on the backend.
Training
After we’re all set and the site is live, I’ll meet with you either in person or over a Skype or Google Hangout call to train you in on the process of updating your website.
